Digital product terms
Purchasing conditions and permitted uses for the UK Cryptoasset Readiness Toolkit.
1. Who provides the research
OrbiSignal Ltd (company number 17512012), registered in England and Wales, has its registered office at 8 James Road, Dartford, Kent, DA1 3NF, United Kingdom. OrbiSignal is an independent publisher of regulatory research materials. For questions about the toolkit, email hello@orbisignalhq.com.
2. What you purchase
The UK Cryptoasset Readiness Toolkit — October 2026 is a single-purchase digital research pack at an advertised base price of £49. It contains one seven-page, English-language PDF guide dated 17 October 2026 and four editable CSV files: Activity Map, Evidence Checklist, Gap/Action Register and Source Verification. The materials are supplied in a ZIP archive, requiring compatible ZIP, PDF and CSV software. No physical goods are supplied.
The purchase does not include ongoing regulatory updates, personalised advice, consultancy, licence applications, a subscription or a guarantee of authorisation.
3. Who may use it
The toolkit is available to business purchasers and individual consumers. On purchase, OrbiSignal grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the research guide and templates as described below. This licence is for use of the content; no copyright ownership is transferred.
Business licence — one purchasing legal entity: a single £49 purchase permits the purchasing company, LLP, partnership or other identified business entity to use the guide and editable CSV templates for its own internal regulatory research, compliance preparation, business planning and staff training. Its employees and contractors engaged to work for that entity may receive and use internal copies solely for those purposes. The purchasing business must ensure contractors keep the materials confidential, do not reuse them for other clients and cease use when the engagement ends.
Separate entities: subsidiaries, parent companies, sister companies, clients and other legally distinct organisations are not covered by the purchaser's licence without their own licence or written permission from OrbiSignal. A sole trader purchasing for their own trade may use the pack for that trade and with contractors working for it; this does not extend to unrelated businesses.
Individual licence: a person purchasing for private purposes may retain and use copies for personal study, education and non-commercial research.
Purchasers may populate, adapt and internally circulate the CSV templates within the authorised scope. They must not resell, publicly post, commercially redistribute, sublicense or offer the original guide or blank templates as a competing product. In particular, purchasers should not share the private download link outside the authorised recipient group. OrbiSignal and any third-party rights holders retain their intellectual property rights.
4. Price, taxes and payment
The advertised base price is £49 for one pack. Applicable taxes may be included in or added to the amount payable based on the purchaser's location and checkout configuration. The checkout presents the final total and payment currency before payment is confirmed. No recurring charge is associated with this toolkit.
Stripe Managed Payments is the payment service used for eligible transactions and acts as merchant of record for payments made through that service. Stripe and/or its relevant affiliates handle checkout, indirect tax and certain payment support, receipts and refunds under the applicable checkout terms. OrbiSignal provides the research content, delivery support and content-related remedies. Refer to Refunds and cancellation for more information.
5. Delivery and access
Following successful payment confirmation and completion of any required consent and acknowledgement for early digital supply, access instructions are normally sent by email. The standard secure retrieval window is seven full days from the moment secure download access is unlocked after the required confirmation, with a maximum of five successful downloads per purchase. Delaying confirmation does not reduce the seven-day retrieval window.
The seven-day window and five-download limit apply to retrieving the ZIP from OrbiSignal's download service. They do not end the licence to use copies lawfully downloaded during the retrieval window, including permitted internal copies within one purchasing business entity. Contact hello@orbisignalhq.com if delivery fails or additional access is reasonably needed to remedy a technical issue.
Agreement to these general terms alone does not establish express consent to begin digital supply during a consumer cancellation period or acknowledgement of the resulting consequences. A separate, verifiable consent and confirmation process is required where applicable.
6. Research limitations
The toolkit is general editorial research and working templates only. It does not provide firm-specific legal, tax, regulatory or investment advice. Laws and regulatory interpretations can change after the edition date. Users should independently check current official sources and obtain qualified advice where appropriate. No authorisation or application outcome is promised.
7. Consumer rights and cancellations
For a UK consumer purchasing digital content not supplied on a physical medium, the normal change-of-mind cancellation period is 14 days after the contract is made. Under the applicable rules, the right can be lost once early supply begins, but only where the consumer first gives the required express consent, acknowledges that beginning supply will remove that cancellation right, and receives the prescribed confirmation on a durable medium. Merely accepting the general terms or receiving a link does not automatically establish that these requirements were met.
If the required conditions are not fulfilled, we will not claim that the cancellation right was lost because delivery began. Consumers can send a clear cancellation notice using the guidance in our Refunds and cancellation policy. Rights to remedies for faulty, inaccessible, not-as-described or unsupplied digital content are separate from any change-of-mind cancellation rights.
Mandatory consumer protections in other countries may differ and remain unaffected where applicable.
8. Business customers
Business purchases are made for the business's trade or professional purposes and are governed by the organisation-wide licence in section 3. No statutory consumer change-of-mind cancellation period is promised for genuine business purchases. Please contact OrbiSignal about any delivery or quality problem. Any applicable mandatory contractual rights remain unaffected.
9. Liability and statutory protections
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, or statutory rights available to consumers. For other claims, applicable remedies and limitations depend on the purchaser's circumstances and governing law. Please contact us promptly to resolve problems with delivery or the supplied files.
10. Privacy and contact
Information about payment and fulfilment data is in our Privacy notice. Product and purchase enquiries: hello@orbisignalhq.com. Privacy requests: privacy@orbisignalhq.com.
11. Governing law
These terms are prepared under the laws of England and Wales, but no choice-of-law term overrides mandatory consumer protections that apply in a purchaser's place of residence. Any transaction is also subject to the applicable Stripe Managed Payments checkout terms.
These terms are being prepared for the upcoming checkout launch. Purchases are not currently enabled on this website.
