1. Who we are

2. What information is processed

When you browse, our hosting and security provider may process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, timestamps and security events. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to supply, such as your name, organisation, email address and message.

The current public site does not offer account registration, accept payments, collect wallet addresses, perform hosted wallet screening, or submit licensing checklist answers to us. The Licence Navigator and other research checklists run locally in your browser, without submitting selections to us.

3. Why we process it

We use website technical information to operate, protect and maintain the website, and email correspondence to respond to enquiries, correct research and communicate with people who contact us. For these current activities, we rely principally on our legitimate interests in operating a secure research service and corresponding with visitors. We may also process information where necessary to meet a legal obligation. If a future paid contract requires additional processing, we will provide further privacy information.

4. Service providers and transfers

Our website uses Cloudflare for hosting and security. Inbound business email may be routed by Cloudflare to our chosen mailbox provider. These providers may operate internationally. For information about our providers, the locations in which they handle personal data and relevant transfer safeguards, contact our privacy address. We may disclose information where required by law. We do not sell visitor or enquiry personal information.

5. How long we retain information

We aim to delete routine enquiries when no longer needed, normally within 12 months of the last substantive interaction unless a longer period is necessary to meet legal obligations, keep required business records or manage a dispute. Technical security and operational logs are retained in accordance with the relevant hosting provider's settings and policies. We periodically review retention and access.

6. Cookies and analytics

We do not currently operate optional advertising, personalisation or visitor-tracking analytics scripts on these pages. Cloudflare may use technically necessary cookies or security mechanisms to provide and protect the website. If optional tracking or a newsletter subscription service is introduced, we will update this notice and implement any legally required choices first.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information and to data portability. Please contact privacy@orbisignalhq.com with a request. We may need reasonable information to verify your identity before acting. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

8. Changes and contact
